Our Divine furniture are all hand made and hand painted in our workshops here in the Czech Republic.
The quality of materials and furniture making is at its highest level using hardwoods and traditional joinery methods through out our range.
Our designs have a distinctive style of Shaker furniture, with simplicity, functional form and good proportions.

We have pride in our cabinet making and in the knowledge that all our furniture is handmade in our own workshops here in the Czech Republic. Our furniture includes traditional and modern methods of construction such as mortise and tenon and biscuit jointing for great strength and durability. All of our furniture is hand painted inside and out using water based acrylic paint, which is extremely hard wearing and easy to clean.

The materials we use to construct our furniture is at its highest level, using hardwoods sourced locally in the Czech republic and ironmongery, knobs and hinges from the UK. Hardwood such as beech and alder is used for our cabinet doors, face frames and fascias. The carcases are constructed from high grade birch plywood, extremely durable and stable material that is also water resistant. Our solid oak worktops are just beautiful and are specifically made for each piece of furniture made.

Inspiration for our designs, come from the distinctive Shaker furniture. The Shakers, which were a religious sect originating from England, developed a style of furniture that was very practical& functional, well-made and had a minimalist design with good proportions. We, as Divine Furniture value these same principals and reflect them into all our furniture.
